深圳明華—上海海大深圳進修學(xué)院的前身為明華培訓(xùn)中心，明華培訓(xùn)中心成立于1991年，至今已培訓(xùn)了3000多名船員，取得了豐富的培訓(xùn)經(jīng)驗。
進修學(xué)院設(shè)于蛇口第一個集辦公、會展、服務(wù)式公寓、酒店、餐飲、康樂、會所等功能于一身的智能大廈—明華國際海事中心大樓內(nèi)。擁有國內(nèi)一流的教學(xué)設(shè)施與設(shè)備，教室、實驗室、辦公室面積達2000余平方米。除先進的語言實驗室、計算機中心等設(shè)施外，學(xué)院斥巨資購置了具有二十一世紀(jì)九十年代國際先進水平的船舶輪機模擬器和綜合船舶操縱模擬器。學(xué)院力求建成為華南地區(qū)、香港和東南亞地區(qū)航運人才資源培訓(xùn)和開發(fā)的基地。
進修學(xué)院旨在進行符合STCW78/95公約標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和船東要求的多層次的國際海員的培訓(xùn)及在航運經(jīng)營管理、金融貿(mào)易、財務(wù)會計、經(jīng)濟與法律、機電、計算機、商務(wù)英語等方面培養(yǎng)適應(yīng)現(xiàn)代化管理要求的、高層次的、國際化的復(fù)合型人才。
The MING WAH-SMU Shenzhen Continuation College grew out of the MING WAH Training Center founded in 1991. With a rich experience in training, the center has provided professional training for over 3000 crew members.
The college was located at Marina Ming Wah Convention Center which is the first of the intelligent buildings in Shekou combining offices, convention, exhibition, serviced apartments, hotel, restaurants and entertaining facilities in one complex.
With its first-class facilities and equipments in the nation the college occupies an area of 2000 m2 for the classrooms, laboratories and offices. In addition to an advanced language lab and a computer center, the college has invested for setting a marine engine room simulator and a composite shiphandling simulator which are of 1990’s international advanced level.
The college will make continuous efforts to build itself into a training base for shipping personnel in South China, Hong Kong and further in South-East Asia.
The college aims at training qualified international seamen in compliance with the standards of STCW78/95 convention and the requirements of shipowners. The college is to turn out the senior, international, multi-purpose professionals in the disciplines of shipping management, finance & trade, finance & accounting, economy and law, electronic engineering, computer science and business English.
